Riding The Waves of Early Motherhood

A 5-WEEK GROUP EXPERIENCE FOR NEW MOTHERS

Who was I?

Who am I now?

Who am I becoming?

This program is designed specifically for new mothers (ideal for 0-5 years postpartum) who are navigating the emotional, personal, relational, and spiritual shifts of this life transition.

Motherhood changes everything.
The early years — raw, tender, and transformative — often stir deep questions:

In this workshop we will:

  • Honor What’s Been Lost: Explore the quieter grief of identity shift — and learn to name, validate, and tend to what’s changed.

  • Cultivate Presence: Practice accessible tools to return to yourself in the midst of motherhood’s chaos — moments of pause, clarity, and reconnection.

  • Clarify Your Values: Identify what truly matters to you as a mother — and as a whole person — so you can lead with intention.

  • Build Meaningful Community: Share stories and solidarity with other mothers. Because healing happens in connection.

Above all, this group holds space for the sacredness of the mothering journey — including all its messiness, beauty, and becoming.

Hi, I’m Talia — a certified life coach, writer, and mom of two (almost three!). Like so many mothers, I was profoundly transformed by becoming a parent in ways I could never have anticipated. The joy, the identity loss, the tenderness, the overwhelm, the loneliness — all of it. I know what it’s like to feel adrift, craving support but unsure where to turn or even what to ask for. Early motherhood is a time of immense change, and it often comes with a heavy mental load, new responsibilities, and a support system that simply wasn’t built with us in mind.

I created Riding the Waves of Early Motherhood to offer mothers a space for true, compassionate support — no matter where they are in their journey. I longed for a place where we could speak honestly about the raw, real layers of motherhood — not just the logistics of daily life, but the deep emotional and personal transformations that unfold along the way.

This five-week program is designed to help you break free from isolation, connect meaningfully with other local moms, and feel seen, supported, and held — just as you are. Together, we’ll create a judgment-free community where your experience matters and your voice is heard.

This desire to give voice to the inner world of motherhood also inspired my creative work. In May 2025, I published my debut poetry collection, The Mother Self — an exploration of the multi-faceted emotional terrain of early motherhood.

I also hold a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology and Creative Writing from New York University and am trained in somatic and mindfulness-based therapies. I’m a certified 300-hour yoga and meditation teacher and specialize in helping individuals and couples reconnect with their inner truth and heal relational patterns. I’m passionate about supporting mothers as they root more deeply into themselves and navigate this complex, beautiful transformation.
